CoreIRC came to life. It all started just two days earlier, when Ritche and Erwin began planning to set up a new server. The name Core was Ritche’s idea, inspired by the core of a CPU — symbolizing the central hub where everything connects and operates.

As we worked to bring CoreIRC to life, our friends Ryan, Rap, Janroe, and Ran stepped in to help get the server running smoothly. Beyond that, many others supported us by spreading the word and inviting people to join, helping CoreIRC grow into a thriving community.

Our vision for CoreIRC is clear: to create a safe, welcoming, and troll-free IRC environment where people can connect, share, and build lasting friendships.
